DRYING FRESH HERBS IN MICROWAVE
OVEN
 
Wash herbs, shake off excess moisture, then pat with paper towels to dry completely. Remove leaves from stems and arrange in a single layer between double thickness of paper towels. Dry about 1 cup at a time by placing in the microwave on high power for 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool. Then crumble, package in plastic bags or glass containers.

Great for parsley, summer savory, and basil.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
