BEEF AND CABBAGE SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. diced onions
2 c. celery (optional)
8 c. chopped cabbage
3 c. carrots (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
sprinkle of basil and oregano
3 (10 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, diced

Cook meat, onion and celery until meat is browned. Place meat mixture and remaining ingredients in a large pot. Cook approximately 1 hour. Freezes well, also.
