WAYNE CHAMBERS MAGIC BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1 c. shortening, Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 pkg. dry yeast

Dissolve yeast in 5 tablespoons of lukewarm water. Sift all dry ingredients together; cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and yeast - DO NOT LET RISE.

Shape and freeze on cookie sheet (you do not have to roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter - just pinch off and shape into biscuit form.) Bag and return to freezer. Remove only the number desired when ready to baking. Bake in 400 degree oven (start with a cold oven) for 25 minutes.

This recipe makes about 25-30 medium size biscuits.
