SOUTHERN CRACKLIN' CORNBREAD 
4 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. buttermilk
1 c. cracklings
2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. bacon drippings

Combine cornmeal, soda and salt. Stir in eggs and buttermilk. Heat bacon drippings in a 13x9x2 pan until very hot; add cracklings and drippings to batter, mixing well. Pour into hot pan. Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown.
