2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. peanut butter
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal

Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in eggs and peanut butter. Sift flour, soda and salt and beat into creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal and mix well. Form dough into one inch balls and place on a cookie sheet. Criss-cross dough with a fork and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
