ZAC'S SOUP 
1 lb. Polish or German sausage
1/4 c. onions
1 or 2 Jalapeno peppers
Shortening to shallow fry
16 oz. mixed vegetables
6-8 c. water
1 or 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Brown onions and peppers in shortening. Drain. Place onions, peppers, sausage and water in large pan. Bring to boil and cook for about 30 minutes or until sausage is tender. Then add tomato sauce and mixed vegetables. Cook until vegetables are tender. Serve hot with corn bread if desired.
