1 c. sugar
1/2 c. lowfat buttermilk
1/2 c. Butter Buds
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Serve hot over slices of angel food cake.
