SAUTEED APPLES WEDGES 
2 tbsp. butter
2 med. size red delicious apples quartered, cored and cut in 1/2 inch wedges
2 med. size Granny Smith apples, quartered, cored and cut in 1/2 inch wedges
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar

Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add apples and cook about 5 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times, until almost tender. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cook 1 to 2 minutes more until apples are tender and glazed.
