SPANISH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
6 oz. salsa (med. or mild, as preferred)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of water
1 chopped onion
1 packet dry taco seasoning
8 slices pkgd. cheese
1 bag tortilla chips (lg.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef and onion. Add salsa, mushroom soup, water and taco seasoning. Mix well and heat thoroughly. Place half the tortilla chips in 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Pour half of the mixture over chips. Place 4 of the slices of cheese on mixture. Repeat with chips and mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Then add remaining cheese slices on top and bake in oven 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
