MONTANA SPUDS CASSEROLE 
2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns with onions and green peppers
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. diced onion (or more)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. grated American cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Mix all ingredients in order given, except butter and corn flake crumbs. Put in 9x13 inch pan. Top with crushed corn flakes and butter. Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
