STUFFED CHICKEN BREASTS | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/4 tsp. dried oregano 1 garlic clove, minced 4 chicken breasts, split, boned, and skinned 1 tsp. grated onion 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. bread crumbs butter Combine cream cheese, onion, and seasonings, mixing until well blended. Pound chicken to 1/4 inch thickness. Spread each piece with 2 tablespoons cream cheese mixture; roll up. Secure with wooden picks. Dip in eggs; coat with crumbs. Repeat. Brown chicken on all sides in butter. Place in baking pan; bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until tender. |
