TURTLE CAKE 
1 German Chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag of caramels
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with butter and milk over low heat. Pour over 1/2 baked cake.

Top with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour rest of cake batter on top. Bake 20-25 minutes longer at 350 degrees. Glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons milk and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.
