1 German chocolate cake mix (with pudding) 1 stick melted butter 1 c. evaporated milk (from 13 oz. can, save rest for caramel mix) 1 (14 oz.) Kraft caramels (51) 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts Blend cake mix, butter and 1 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 batter into a greased and floured 13"x9" pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Meanwhile, melt caramels and rest of milk. Spread on warm cake. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Then spread remaining batter over and bake 25 minutes more. |
