GLAZED PEANUTS OR PECANS 
2 c. raw (shelled) peanuts or pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water

In a black frying pan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Add nuts. Cook and stir the peanuts, pecans until all the water has evaporated. (Nuts look grainy.) Pour onto cookie sheet. Spread apart with a spoon. Preheat oven to 300 degrees and bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool. Spread in airtight container.
