BEEF STEAK POTATO SCALLOP 
1 lb. beef round steak
Flour
3 tbsp. oil
3 sm. onions, thinly sliced
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Thyme
Garlic salt
2 c. water
3 med. potatoes, pared and sliced
Salt and paprika

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut meat in 1-inch cubes, coat with flour. Melt oil in skillet, brown meat, add onion, cook until onion is tender. Pour into ungreased baking dish. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons flour, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic salt. Pour water over mixture.

Cover and bake 45-60 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees. Arrange potatoes on meat, sprinkle with salt and paprika. Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
