STOVE - TOP BAKED BEANS | |
2 tbsp. shortening or butter 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 (16 oz.) cans pork & beans 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained & chunks cut in half 3/4 c. catsup 1/4 c. dark molasses 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tsp. prepared mustard Melt shortening in saucepan and add green pepper and onion. Saute for 5 minutes. Stir in pork and beans, pineapple, catsup, molasses, brown sugar and mustard. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. |
