JIM'S QUICK CORN BREAD | |
1 c. cornmeal 1 c. flour 3 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tbsp. baking soda 1/2 c. oil 1 c. milk 2 eggs Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take a 10 inch cast iron skillet add oil, heat on top of stove. Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking soda. To the dry mix, add eggs and milk. Pour oil out of skillet in to mix, turn in slowly. Pour batter into skillet. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from skillet at once. Serve hot. |
