SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
3 c. cooked shredded cabbage
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 c. med. white sauce
2/3 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste while mixing

WHITE SAUCE:

2 c. milk
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. butter

SAUCE: Soften butter on low heat. Add flour. Slowly add milk. Stir until smooth.

Add cabbage to white sauce. Layer in baking dish the cabbage mixture, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup cheese. Repeat using all ingredients, ending with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown. Serves 6-8.
