SCALLOPED CABBAGE 
3 c. shredded cabbage

Cook 7 to 8 minutes and drain.

Make sauce:

3 tbsp. melted butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt and dash pepper
1 1/2 c. milk

Cook until thickened. Add 3/4 cup Velveeta cheese diced, 2 cups buttered breads crumbs or cubes. In greased baking dish, place layer of 1/2 of the cabbage, 1/2 sauce, layer of cheese - repeat layers. Top with buttered crumbs or cubes. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
