ICE CREAM PIE | |
1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs 1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds 3 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. almond extract 1 qt. vanilla ice cream 1 (12 oz.) jar apricot jam Combine first four items. Mix well and sprinkle 1/3 mixture in 8 inch square pan and press down. Spread 1/2 ice cream over the crumbs using a wet spatula (let melt a little). Drizzle 1/2 of jam over ice cream. Repeat ending with crumbs. Freeze. |
