CHICKEN WITH KRAUT | |
1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1/2 tsp. paprika Chicken, cut up 1/4 c. butter 1. Combine dry ingredients in bag, coat chicken and brown in butter. 2. Combine 2 cups sauerkraut, 1 grated potato, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed. 3. Put sauerkraut in 9 x 13 casserole pan. Lay chicken on top, after browned. Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350 degrees. You may have to turn oven lower so chicken doesn't dry out before it's well done. |
