3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. light cream
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3-4 drops green food coloring
1/4 tsp. mint flavoring
1 1/2 c. flour

Cream first 3 ingredients, then add coloring, flavoring and baking powder. Mix well, then add flour. Pat into 9x13 pan and bake for 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool slightly and frost. (I double recipe and use a jelly roll or bar pan.)

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. mint flavoring
3-4 tbsp. cream or milk

Soften butter and cream cheese; cream together and add other ingredients. Reserve 1/2 cup frosting and add green food coloring and drizzle over the white frosting on bars. One batch of frosting is enough for a double pan of bars.
