STUFFING FOR DATES 
Cheeses - experiment with all kinds of cheese from mild Monterey Jack to Sharp Cheddar, Pimiento or Roquefort. Cream cheese is an old favorite. It can be softened with orange juice or lemonade concentrate.

Peanut Butter - try to nutty grind.

Fresh Vegetables - anything crunchy like carrots, celery or green pepper is surprisingly good.

Fresh Fruits - apple pieces, pear chunks, pineapple wedges or even avocado.
