DATE NUT BALLS 
In saucepan mix:

1/4 lb. butter
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates

Make it come to a full bubbling boil. Take out of the stove and add:

2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Let cool and form small balls and roll in coconut. Put on tray and put in refrigerator.
