APPLE CRISP 
4 c. apples, pared, cored and cut
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar

Place apples in 2-quart oblong casserole that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Add water and spices and mix. In medium bowl combine flour, sugar and butter that has been cut into pieces. Blend by hand with a fork or pastry fork. Sprinkle over top of the apple mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 55-60 minutes.
