APPLESAUCE CAKE 
3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. applesauce
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to sprinkle.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. powdered sugar

Cake: Heat butter in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Blend butter, sugar, eggs and applesauce. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cocoa. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts.

Grease 9 inch square pan that can be used in microwave. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture in pan. Pour batter into pan and cook in the microwave for 19-21 minutes on medium power. Rotate 2 times while baking.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
