JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 lb. hamburger
Cheese
Jalapeno peppers
1 can cream style corn
2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 egg
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. bacon drippings

Brown hamburger in skillet, then drain. Mix together meal, egg, buttermilk and bacon drippings. Add creamed corn to this mixture. Put half the cornmeal mixture in casserole dish; top with hamburger and top hamburger with cheese and peppers. Pour the rest of cornmeal mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees until bread is done.
