BUTTERNUT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring

Cream Crisco and sugar, add eggs one at a time, add flour (1 cup). Mix. Add milk, flavoring and rest of the flour. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

BUTTERNUT FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
1 lb. box conf. sugar
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring
6 tbsp. milk (maybe 1 extra tbsp.)

Mix all ingredients together. Frost cake.
