CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 broiler 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. 3 c. broth 3 c. noodles 1 c. diced celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn 1 can mushroom soup 1 sm. can chopped pimiento Sliced Cheddar, cut into strips Cook broiler until tender in salted water. Remove chicken from bone and cut into large pieces. Use 3 cups of broth, add celery and onions, cook 5 minutes. Add noodles. Cook until tender. Add mushroom soup, corn, pimiento and chicken. Season to taste. Pour into casserole and garnish with cheese strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. |
