RUEBEN CASSEROLE | |
1 (16 oz.) can drained sauerkraut 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. snipped fresh or dried parsley 1 tsp. caraway seed 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 2/3 c. Thousand Island dressing 1/2 lb. sliced corned beef 3 slices rye bread, cubed 1/4 c. butter, melted Mix together well, sauerkraut, onion, parsley, and caraway seed in a bowl and place in bottom of baking dish. Top with 1 cup of cheese, 1/2 cup dressing, and corned beef. Top with remaining cheese and dressing. Toss bread with melted butter. Sprinkle over all; bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until bubbly. |
