SWEET PEPPER RELISH 
12 red sweet peppers
12 green peppers
3 lg. onions
1 1/2 pts. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
2 c. sugar

(A few pods of hot pepper may be added, if desired.)

Put hot water over peppers and onions and let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Put vinegar, salt and sugar. Let boil 15 minutes. Can, seal tight.
