CHOCOLATE PIE 
This is my late Grandmothers recipe. It is delicious!

1 baked deep-dish pie shell

Chocolate Filling:

2 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
dash salt
2 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cocoa

Beat egg yolks in milk, scald. In separate bowl mix sugar, salt, flour and cocoa. Add small amount of scalded milk then put all in pan and cook til it is very thick, about 5 minutes. Pour into baked deep dish pie shell, top with meringue and brown at 325°F.

Meringue Topping:

2 egg whites
1/3 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/4 cup sugar

Beat egg whites with vanilla and salt until barely stiff, adding sugar gradually. Beat another 30 seconds. Spread over chocolate filling.
