BUTTER CRUMSHUS COFFEE CAKE 
TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar

Cut butter into flour and brown sugar to make crumb mixture.

Sift together: 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 c. butter
1 c. (8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar

Cream butter with cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, creaming well. Blend in 2 unbeaten eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat well.

Add the dry ingredients alternately with 1/2 cup milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients, blending well after each addition. (I use slow speed with electric mixer.) Turn into a 9x13x2 inch pan, greased well. Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
