GARDEN WALK PICKLES 
6 lg. cucumbers, sliced
4 c. red tomatoes, chopped
6 med. onions, sliced
4 green peppers, cut in strips
1 c. salt
2 c. green beans, cut in 1 inch lenghths
1 can lima beans
2 c. carrots, sliced
2 c. celery, sliced
1 med. cauliflower, cut
8 c. vinegar
7 c. sugar
1/4 c. mixed pickling spices
4 tbsp. mustard seed

Soak first 4 ingredients in 1 cup salt, 1 gallon water overnight. Next day, drain. Cover with hot water, drain. Cook beans, carrots, celery and cauliflower 20 minutes. Drain.

Boil vinegar, sugar, seasoning. When hot add all vegetables. Cook 15 minutes. Put into jars. 12 pints.
