HONEY WALNUT BREAD 
1 c. milk (1/3 c. milk powder, then fill to 1 c. line with hot water)
1 c. honey
1/4 c. butter, butter or oil
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour (you can use 1/2 white flour)
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. walnuts

Combine milk and honey, stir until blended. Beat in oil, eggs, flour, salt and baking powder until well blended. Fold in nuts.

Place in greased loaf pan. Bake one hour at 325 degrees; cool 15 minutes in pan. Cool before slicing. Variation: use some or all roasted barley flour.
