CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 bar German sweet chocolate
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
4 eggs
1 c. water
1/2 c. salad oil
Confectioners' sugar for topping

Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Put cake mix and pudding powder into large mixing bowl. Mix on low while adding eggs, one at a time, then water and oil slowly.

Beat for a total of 8 minutes at medium speed. After 5 minutes, add grated chocolate slowly. After 7 minutes, add chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Test with toothpick. Top should spring back when touched. When cool, remove from pan. Paint top of cake with egg white, then sprinkle with remaining grated chocolate. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar over top of cake through a small strainer.
