LENTIL SOUP | |
1 lb. lentils 1 (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 stalks celery, sliced 1 carrot, sliced 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. or more garlic powder 4 to 5 qt. water Rinse lentils well and drain. Add all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Turn down to simmer and cook for about 1 hour. (Serves 8) |
