SADIE'S PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup
2/3 c. water
1 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine sugar, syrup, water, and peanuts and cook until amber color and peanuts smell parched (take off heat when peanuts begin to pop). Add soda and stir quickly, then pour on greased cookie sheet. DO not spread, but lift edges with knife and stretch. Break into pieces when cool.
