CORN BREAD 
2 c. white or yellow corn meal
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. oil

Mix all dry ingredients together. Beat egg, milk, and oil together. Add to dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Pour into square pan that has 2 tablespoons heated oil. If using self rising corn meal, omit salt and baking powder. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or more until light brown.
