GOLDEN LASAGNA | |
3 tbsp. butter 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1 jar pimiento 1/2 c. chopped pepper 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted) 1/2 c. milk 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves 8 lasagna noodles (cooked and drained) 1 (16 oz.) carton sm. curd cottage cheese 3 c. cooked chicken 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese 50 minute cooking time at 350 degrees. Melt butter in suace pan, add mushrooms, onion and peppers and saute' for 5 minutes. Stir in chicken soup, milk, pimientoes and basil, arrange 4 noodles in greased 9 x 13 pan. 1/2 of the sauce 1/2 of the cottage cheese 1/2 of the chicken 1/2 of the Cheddar and 1/2 of parmesan Add remaining layers beginning with lasagna noodles. Let stand for 10 minutes. |
