HOMEMADE GRANOLA 
4 c. reg. oats, uncooked
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. sunflower kernels
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped dates

Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Spread mixture on lightly greased 15x10x1 jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Stir in pecans and dates. Cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Yields 9 cups.
