STUFFED PEPPERS | |
2 lb. green peppers 1 lb. ground beef 1 to 2 c. cooked rice 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 can Manwich sauce Cut the peppers in halves and remove seeds. Parboil peppers (about 5 to 7 minutes). Brown ground beef and salt lightly. Add cooked rice to beef. Stir in 1/2 of the Manwich sauce. Arrange peppers in baking dish (I sprinkle a little paprika over peppers, but that's optional). Spoon in beef-rice mix. Pour remaining Manwich sauce over peppers and top with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes. |
