CRACKED WHEAT - POP UP BREAD | |
1 pkg. yeast 1/2 c. warm water 1 c. cracked wheat 1 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. oil 3 tbsp. butter 3 c. white flour 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk Dissolve yeast in water, add rest as listed. Stir well. Pour in 2 (16 oz. or 1 lb.) greased coffee cans. Put on plastic lids tightly. When lids pop off, bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Be sure to grease cans and lids well. |
