DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chips. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely, cut into squares. Makes approximately 16.
