NOODLES AND CHICKEN IN WHITE
SAUCE
 
1/2 lb. egg noodles, parboiled
1 lb. chicken meat, cut in pieces
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Bread crumbs
Grated cheese

Drain egg noodles and place in buttered baking pan. Place chicken on top. Prepare sauce by melting butter and adding flour gradually. Mix well and cook about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk gradually. Continue to stir. Add seasoning. Stir until thick. Pour over noodles and chicken. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
