SOFT PRETZELS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
3/4 tsp. coarse salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg

Soften yeast in large bowl. Add salt and sugar. Mix in flour and knead to make soft dough. Cut into small pieces and roll into "pencils" & twist into pretzels. Place on cookie sheet. Brush on egg and sprinkle with salt.

Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
