MANDARIN DESSERT SALAD 
2 pkg. (3 oz.) or 1 lg. orange Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 pt. orange sherbet
1 can mandarin oranges, drained well (11 oz.)

Dissolve Jello in water, add sherbet immediately and stir until melted. Chill until syrupy. Add oranges, pour into 1 1/2 quart ring mold. Chill until firm. Unmold and fill center with Ambrosia Fruit Salad:

AMBROSIA FRUIT SALAD:

1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained well
1 can (13 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained well
1 c. commercial sour cream
Add 1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. flaked coconut, optional

Mix all and chill.
