3 egg yolks
1 2/3 c. thick buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soft butter
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Beat egg yolks well with rotary beater. Beat in buttermilk and dry mixed ingredients. Beat in butter. Fold in egg whites. Cook on greased hot griddle. Makes 16 pancakes.
