SANDBAKKEL 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. ground almonds

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add almond extract. Stir in flour. Add almonds. Pinch off a small ball of dough and place in center of sandbakkel mold. Press dough evenly over bottom and sides. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes.
