1 box brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
1 c. black walnuts, floured

Cream butter, Crisco, and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beat after each addition. Add milk and flavoring and continue beating. Sift flour and baking powder. Add to mixture and beat well. Add nuts, stir in with spoon. Cook in greased, floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour, 15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
